ZapGlass studio is owned by Jieun & Jon Zapiecki. They currently live and work in Morristown, NJ. Jieun is a visual artist originally from Seoul, Korea. She explores her artistic journey with a sense of time, place, and nature. Jon is a glass artist who has been working and developing his own artistic language in glass for over 20 years.

They collaborate to create abstract documentation of the sublime beauty of nature using imagery, color, and form in glass. Their work includes inspiration from personal experiences and emotions. They are utilizing abstraction as a tool, obscuring known places with color, reconstructing their memories, and creating a new collective understanding. The body of work blends all these separate histories into new reflections of the human experience.
