Terry Plasket grew up in South Jersey, born and raised in Pennsville, NJ. Terry attended Jacksonville University in Florida from 1970-1976 and continued his education at Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) from 1976 to 1979. He began work at WheatonArts full time in 1979 and has stayed ever since.

Primarily working in functional pottery, Terry uses both stoneware and porcelain clays in his work. He fires his pots in one of three kilns at WheatonArts – a high fire reduction gas kiln, a salt glaze kiln, and a chamber noborigama style wood-fired kiln. Terry’s works are often displayed at a variety of craft shows, however, most of his creations are sold at WheatonArts, Peters Valley Craft Center and numerous galleries and shops.

Photos of Terry’s work can be found on his website, plasketpottery.com as well on his Facebook and Instagram pages.
