Volunteering at WheatonArts
We invite all interested volunteers to fill out a volunteer application and meet with our Volunteer Coordinator to explore their areas of interest and expertise. After this meeting, we match volunteers with the opportunity that best fits interests and schedules. Staff and volunteers work together, in the public eye and behind the scenes, to provide fun and educational experiences involving art, history, culture, and community.
We are a verified community service site for Cumberland County. If you need to fulfill court-mandated hours, please check the box where asked so we can document your hours properly. In order to volunteer for these hours, you must fill out an application with that box checked and interview with the Volunteer Coordinator.
We provide letters to students volunteering for school service learning hours. The Volunteer Coordinator will ask for your school’s information and prepare a letter for when you volunteer. We also welcome student groups (National Honor Society, Key Club, etc.) and can coordinate with group leaders to establish volunteer roles for events.
