Su-yeon Kim is a glass-based visual artist in Seoul, South Korea. Her work narrates collected memories based on her drawings. She received her BFA in Ceramics and Glass, and Printmaking from Hongik University in Seoul, South Korea, and her MFA in Glass from Southern Illinois University Carbondale in Carbondale, IL, United States. She was a resident artist in the glass studio at Korea Ceramics Foundation, located at Icheon, South Korea from 2017 to 2019. She also was an Emerging Artist in Residence at Pilchuck Glass School in 2018. Her works have been featured in various exhibitions, most recently in her solo exhibition Forest of the Stools, Garden of the Thoughts at Gallery Wannmul in Seoul, South Korea.
