In 2010, I started learning about natural soaps and skincare as a continuation of my fitness and nutrition journey while inspired by an odd turn of events that got me paranoid about my skin.

I became a label reader and really dove into what is in our food and our soaps. It was and still is puzzling how so much that the public uses is loaded with questionable chemicals, alcohols, preservatives, dyes, fragrances, and more. I was on a mission to bring this to light in every way while creating a solution. Fast-forward to today and I have a family with young children. From the day all of them were born, they were only cleansed with my soaps. I even peered through the nursery window to be sure the nurses followed my instructions to only use the soaps I gave them on our babies. When I went to create a brand out of what we felt so passionately about in 2017, I loved the name Savvy, because it means “SMART,” but it is also a nickname for my oldest daughter, Savannah.

Now, I have perfected my hand-poured process of natural deodorant, my (ALIVE) Body Butter, Magic Lotion (oil based moisturizer) and all natural body wash.
