Graduated from Syracuse University, BFA cum laude, additional graduate work Parsons School of Design, Syracuse, RISD. Listed in Who’s Who in American Art, and in the permanent collections of over 100 corporate collections and several museums. I started in glass about 20 years ago – my love of color drew me to the beauty of glass.
I work in steel and glass – first the design, the metal image is put on a CAD disk and laser-cut, then I work with a welder to assemble it. All the glass is then done by me – furnace made cane incorporated, raked glass sections, and other components are raised on the surface to give the work dimension.
My journey always starts with something I need – a table, a garden sculpture, a bowl – and then I continue to “grow” the work into my inventory.
