Valerie Vaughn is a singer, musician and songwriter from Tuckerton, NJ who specializes in teaching through music, local history, folklore of South Jersey, songs of the environment or for “Unsung Heroes” like Alice Paul or James Still. She performs extensively from England to the Southwest and of Course NJ. AKA as NJ’s Troubadour, she performed in 2000 for the KENNEDY CENTER at our nation’s capital for the Millenium series, an honor bestowed on her by Senator Frank Lautenberg. Valerie performs also for numerous school assemblies as well as restaurants and has a wide range of material and styles. She can perform in Folk, blues, rock, country, Celtic and jazz.
