I was introduced to weaving in 1982 when WheatonArts had an onsite weaving studio. I fell in love with the entire process of weaving; the combinations of fibers with different colors and textures totally fascinated me. Since then, I’ve continued to study weaving and to develop my understanding of weaving techniques while creating my own styles.
Using only natural fibers such as cotton, linen, silk, alpaca, I create scarves, shawls, as well as other handwoven linens. Many of my pieces will include hand-dyed and handspun yarns and tapestry techniques, which enable me to create one of a kind pieces.
