Chew Pottery is a partnership that specializes in crystalline glaze. Crystalline glazes are glazes that require intensive testing and unique firing schedules to “grow” zinc silicate crystal blooms in the glaze. Although growing crystals is a specialized type of ceramics, and rare in south Jersey, Chew Pottery is always striving forward with new shapes and colors. We continue to be surprised at the beauty and uniqueness that growing crystals affords.
