Keunae Song
Keunae Song is a native South Korean who grew up in Seoul. She began as a painter, studying at the Korean National University of Arts (2000-2004) with full scholarship. By the time her interest in glass was piqued she had been drawing for over 18 years. Her first piece in glass was shown at Cheongju International Craft Biennale when she was junior. Keunae studied abroad, and moved to the United States and completed her MFA in glass at the Rhode Island School of Design (2006-2009). She has shown her work extensively in galleries throughout Pittsburgh, Corning, Seattle and Providence. She also performed in the hotshop at Toledo Museum of Art. Keunae’s work can be viewed in New Glass Review, Edition 31 and 32. Keunae Song lives in Providence, Rhode Island.
