I am a life long artist and animal lover originally from Washington DC. currently from Rehoboth Beach Delaware. I received my Fine Arts degree from the University of Maryland and taught art to elementary aged students in the Maryland Public school system until July of 2016. I like to create unusual ceramic homes and garden decor, everything from soap dishes, fruit bowls, mirrors to planters, birdbaths, and totem poles. Nature, humor, bright colors, rough textures all inspire my work. I am drawn to the lively, spontaneous art of children and folk artists.

Most of my work is slab and extruded high fired stoneware. All my figures are hand modeled, painted with underglaze and clear glazed so that the animals are permanently affixed to the wire. Everything is glazed with non-toxic cone 6 glazes to ensure that every functional piece is completely food safe.
