After serving as a high school special education teacher for twenty-one years, I decided to retire and devote myself to another passion which is and was creating jewelry from antique pieces and found objects. I attended classes at the Abington Art Center and took additional instruction in lapidary and silver work at a local studio.

I have been participating in numerous juried art and craft shows in the Northeast. In addition, I have my work in the American Folk Art Museum gift shop across from Lincoln Center in New York.
