Combine art and game play as we create an exquisite book – a device used to inspire collaborative, unexpected artworks. Surrealists developed a number of techniques for liberating the individual unconscious, including automatic writing and drawing games. The aim was to help people discover the larger reality or “surreality”. The books we will create in this workshop are designed to be used to play the surrealist “Exquisite Corpse” drawing game.
