In partnership with the Cumberland County Improvement Authority, Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center presents the 11th annual Eco-Fair, a free community day inspired by natural living. This event showcases local artists and craftspeople, as well as environmentally minded organizations, family art activities, live music, and food. Local garden clubs, including Rutgers Master Gardeners, will have a variety of plants and herbs for sale throughout the day. Citizens United to Protect the Maurice River will present the Inaugural Walk of the Art and Nature Trail at WheatonArts and the keynote speaker, Dr. Joanna Burger. Dr. Burger is a distinguished professor of biology at Rutgers University in New Brunswick and New Jersey’s most published Ecologist. The presentation will include excerpts from Dr. Burger’s book, 25 Nature Spectacles in New Jersey. A book signing with copies available for purchase will precede the presentation.
