Join us during this one-day celebration for a vivid introduction of the unique Asian traditions associated with the Moon and Lantern Festivals of East Asia! Narrated music and dance performances will feature Japanese Min’yõ dances and taiko drumming, traditional Korean dances, the Chinese lantern dance, a traditional Vietnamese Ao Dai costume show, the Chinese Peking Opera, as well as a musical performance featuring a zither and vocals. The community arts project and installation of “A Hundred Lanterns” will also be on display!

Free admission all day, provided by the “WheatonArts Family Days! Presented by PNC Arts Alive!” program.
