When I was applying to college, my mother dissuaded me from majoring in art, telling me I would never be able to support myself, so I dutifully went into the sciences. I have always been fascinated with glass, so when I turned 40, I decided I had to follow my dream, and went back to school to learn glassblowing. Now I make “Jewelry for the Home” – Fused dichroic glass/lampworked glass and stainless steel items for kitchen and entertaining.
