Clark DeCapite
Clark DeCapite is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. In 2008 he earned his B.F.A. degree in crafts, with a concentration in glass from Kent State University in Ohio. Upon completing his B.F.A., DeCapite moved to Miami, Florida, in pursuit of his M.F.A. degree in sculpture with a concentration in glass at the University of Miami under Professor William D. Carlson.
Although formally trained in glass working practices, the artist’s current body of work openly crosses material lines and technical borders through the use of time based medias, site specific installation as well as re-contextualized traditional materials.
