“Alice In Wonderland” at WheatonArts
WHEATONARTS PARTNERS WITH THE NJ THEATRE ALLIANCE TO PRESENT “ALICE IN WONDERLAND”
Millville, NJ (February 12, 2016) – Wheaton Arts and Cultural Center is participating in The Stages Festival, an annual program of the New Jersey Theatre Alliance. This year, the Pushcart Players will present a production of Alice in Wonderland on Sunday, February 28 at 2:00 p.m. at WheatonArts. The Stages Festival is the state’s largest annual theatre festival, offering discounted and free theatre performances, workshops, and events for all ages.
Dedicated to the mission of engaging artists and audiences in an evolving exploration of creativity, WheatonArts is proud to partner with the New Jersey Theater Alliance and the Pushcart Players to offer a free afternoon of performing arts. Now in its 19th year, The Stages Festival was developed to encourage New Jersey residents to attend professional performances by making the experience affordable, accessible, and fun.
As described by The Stages Festival, the production of Alice in Wonderland is filled with Lewis Carroll’s pure nonsense and madcap characters. It’s an intriguing tale about a curious and proactive young girl that has enchanted readers for many generations. Alice goes on an enchanted journey of self-discovery with challenges, choices, and happy conclusions. Pushcart’s whimsical music, design, and direction offer an unforgettable theater experience.
