Miyuki Nishiuchi
Miyuki held a position at the production glass studio of Yachiyo Kakou Co., Ltd involved in the design and production of the glass line as well as the daily running of the facility. After returning to the United States two-years later she again attended the Penland School. More recently Miyuki graduated from Illinois State University with honors in December of 2001.
Miyuki has also attended sessions at Pilchuck Glass School under a Partner Scholarship, and subsequently has been nominated for the Corning Award for 2002. Her work has been featured in group and solo exhibitions, including “Interior Spaces Still Lives, Illinois Women Artist Invitational” which was reviewed in the monthly art periodical, New Art Examiner.
