Max Grossman
Born and raised in Venice, California, Max Grossman grew up surrounded by a community of artists, thinkers, and creative types. He received a formal education in glass art from Tulane University, where in 2011 he earned a Bachelor of Fine Art degree. In addition to his training at Tulane, he received a scholarship to study at the Pilchuck Glass School with Shunji Omura and Ross Richmond.
Grossman has been both a teaching assistant and studio assistant to noteworthy artists, such as Erica Rosenfeld, Hank Adams, Steven Durow, Michelle Knox, Laurel Porcari, Gene H. Koss, Josiah Mcelheney, Michiko Sakano, Jeff Zimmerman, Deborah Czeresko and Leo Tecosky. Grossman currently lives and works as a full-time hotshop assistant, coldworker, and art handler in New York City.
