Originally from Pennsylvania, Sam Geer attended Harrisburg Area Community College and Salem Community College where he studied under Jim Lard, Paul DeMarco, and Anna Boothe.  From May of 2006 to the present he has worked as the artistic and teaching assistant to Hank Adams.  He has exhibited and performed in noteworthy venues such as Urban Glass in Brooklyn, New York, the Penland School of Crafts in Penland, North Carolina, and The Gallery of Fine Craft at WheatonArts in Millville, New Jersey.
