I am a painter who currently makes small scale oil paintings on canvas and wood panels. I use a limited palette of a few primaries and white which allows me to concentrate on mixing colors that harmonize in the final work. I look for my painting to convey a mood or feeling through color and tone. I enjoy painting plein air as well as spending time in the studio. My landscapes are inspired by local areas because there is so much to see without having to go far. I also love creating still life compositions in my studio which often depict flowers, books and food.
