A native of Bucks County, PA, Jill Tarabar’s fascination with the art of stained glass creation in the copper foil method began in the early 1980s. She continued honing her skills as she participated in regional juried art fairs and developed wholesale connections along the East Coast. A twenty-year long break allowed her to develop graphic design and marketing skills while working full-time in those fields. For the past 6 years, she has been able to focus on stained glass almost exclusively.

Jill often pushes the boundaries & ignores the “rules.” Mixing a variety of clear texture glass with clear bevels and found objects, she’s inspired by nature, spirituality, and Judaism. Much of her work consists of functional gift items such as jewelry boxes, menorahs & mezuzahs. Also an avid knitter, she discovered the art of knitting with wire and is exploring the medium as a way to combine knitting with stained glass.
