Felt Masks
Conceal your true identity with a custom-made, designed-by-you, one-of-a-kind felt mask! These masks are easy to make and do not require any sewing. Fabric glue or hot glue is all you need to assemble one!
Materials:
- Chipboard
- Felt Sheets in Various Shades
- Pencil
- Paper
- Sharpie Marker
- Scissors
- Elastic Band
- Fabric or Hot Glue
Step 1: Sketch a shape for your mask onto a piece of paper. Cut out the template and hold it up to your face. Make adjustments to the template size as necessary before continuing.
Step 2: Lay the template onto a sheet of chipboard and trace its edges. Cut the shape from the sheet of chipboard to provide structure for the mask. Punch a hole on each side of the chipboard.
Step 3: Begin by cutting out a base color of felt to cover the chipboard mask and glue it into place.
Step 4: Add other pieces of felt to enhance the features of the mask.
Step 5: Cut a piece of elastic that is about 30” inches in length. Thread the elastic through one hole and tie it. Thread the other end through the second hole with the mask over your face to test its length and mark it. When you have the correct length, remove the mask from your face and tie the band to secure it.
