I discovered my love for making jewelry when I was 15. I took a class at a local art supply store and knew after the first class this was what I wanted to do. I enjoy working with tools and my hands, but also designing and creating jewelry is exciting to me.

After a couple of years in college, I met a woman who did art shows for a living, and she helped me get started. That was in 1984. Over the years, I’ve had various lines I’ve created and sold either at Art Shows or Galleries all across the U.S.A. These days, I sell at Art Shows or online.

My work is created all by myself. I continue to use various traditional jewelry-making techniques – cutting, forging, soldering, setting stones, and polishing. Almost all my designs incorporate a variety of semi-precious stones. I am fascinated with Mother Nature and her creations. I often use more than one type of stone and create a collage of stones and metal. I have worked in most metals, but I like gold and silver best.
