I am a self taught metalsmith working in mainly sterling and fine silver with some gold. I use semi-precious and precious stones in my work as well. My work tends to focus on elevated layers and small handmade embellishments to add visual interest to my pieces. I like to use textures and patina and any smooth unadorned surfaces need these things to feel finished to me. All of my jewelry is fabricated from sheet metals and wire and I use a variety of techniques to achieve my finished pieces.

My first career was as a hairstylist but that work was not fulfilling so I recently broke away from that and now my full focus is on my jewelry and the business surrounding it. I find I am much happier overall being able to create and work with metal and feel that this is what I was truly meant to do. Much of my work is one of a kind and dependent on the unique gemstones that I carefully select in person at gem shows.
