Wheaton Wide Open Weekends presented by PNC Arts Alive!

Admission is free to WheatonArts on Saturday and Sunday, June 17 and 18! Visitors throughout the weekend have free access to our stores, studio demonstrations, and the Museum of American Glass which currently features the “Emanation 2017” exhibition.

Throughout the weekend, the Family Activity “Lego Printing” will be available from 11 am to 3 pm. Lego® bricks are no longer just for 3-dimensional building. Create one-of-a-kind architectural prints! In this workshop, we will look at examples of castles built in the Middle Ages. Young artist will observe and sketch the architectural elements that interest them. Children will then create their own castles by stamp-printing with various sized Lego® bricks. The workshop begins with a demonstration at 10 am. Please arrive at the beginning of the workshop.
