After graduating I took a job in a local textile company. I also bought a kit and built my first loom (which I am still using 38 years later). I began experimenting with rugs, wall hangings and clothing. I Dabbled with all different types of Fiber Arts for many years. About 8 years ago, as I was getting ready for my last Year before early retirement from the State, I decided that it was time to finally do what I had wanted to all along. I started making tapestry jewelry, scarves, and shawls. Gradually I shifted my focus onto making hand woven clothing and some wall hangings. I have also just started weaving miniature tapestry landscapes. From the beginning I have tried to use old techniques mixed with current colors and restyled ethnic designs to create timeless pieces. I am constantly trying to stretch my perceived limits and be as creative as possible. I enjoy what I do and I hope that you will as well.
