Victoria Ahmadizadeh
Victoria Ahmadizadeh (b. 1988, Allentown, Pennsylvania) is an American artist of Persian Hispanic descent. She holds an MFA in Craft/Material Studies, Glass from Virginia Commonwealth University (2016) and a BFA in Glass from Tyler School of Art at Temple University (2010.) Ahmadizadeh has been an Artist in Residence at The Studios at MASS MoCA, MA and the STARworks Glass Lab, NC. She has participated in programming at Pilchuck Glass School, The Studio of the Corning Museum of Glass, Penland School of Crafts and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, wearing many hats as a Teaching Assistant, Artist Assistant, Scholarship Student, Intern and Staff Member. Her work has been featured in the 2017 UrbanGlass MFA Exhibition in Brooklyn and the 2016 Stanislav Libenský Award show at the DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague. In addition, Ahmadizadeh has shown in the US and UK and is included in issue #33 of The Corning Museum of Glass New Glass Review.
