In conjunction with the exhibit NJ350: Through the Lens of Glass  for 2014 we are offering a special interactive tour experience for groups of all ages. This 45 minute program provides a docent led exploration of the exhibit, examining why glass making started and remains in South Jersey, how glass making in New Jersey reflects important historical themes, and ways glass making in South Jersey evolved, is remembered and interpreted.

Leading the group in a discussion, the themes of traditional or contemporary and art or craft will be investigated. Additionally, the group will have the special opportunity to handle glass making tools used in the South Jersey glass tradition as well as pieces reflecting that tradition made in the WheatonArts Glass Studio.
