Nate Ricciuto
Nate Ricciuto lives and works in Columbus, OH. His projects merge glass, image and performative objects in envisioning bodily experience, craft and imagination as existing in the odd space between the technical and the intuitive. Nate currently teaches in the Glass programs at Ohio State University and Columbus College of Art & Design. He has exhibited at Weston Art Gallery (Cincinnati, OH), S12 Galleri (Bergen, Norway), Islip Art Museum (Islip, NY), ICEBOX Project Space (Philadelphia, PA), Kitchen Table Gallery (Philadelphia, PA), and ROYGBIV (Columbus, OH) among others. Nate earned an MFA from Tyler School of Art in 2015 and holds a BFA from Ohio State University. He has been an Emerging Artist in Residence at Pilchuck Glass School and a WheatonArts Creative Glass Center of America Fellow. In 2017, Nate and was the recipient of the Borowsky Prize in Glass Arts Juror’s Choice Award and an Individual Excellence Award Fellowship from the Ohio Arts Council.
