Special programming and funds exist to ensure that artists, students, and and the community can continue to envision and create art and, as a result of that creative process, be enriched and grow as individuals.

Creative Glass Fellowship Program
In 1983, the Creative Glass Fellowship residency program was founded at WheatonArts. Over 360 artists have been able to expand their process and artwork at WheatonArts through this prestigious program. The Fellowship program offers 24-hour facility access, technical resources, housing, and stipend for emerging and mid-career glass artists. Traditional and flexible residencies are offered to 10 Fellows each year.
The Glasstown Collective
The Glasstown Collective is made up of 3 programs and is designed to enhance learning in the arts, humanities, and science and to foster team building, social skills development, independence, and accomplishment in the students we serve.
GrowCreative! is a program for PreK students. GrowCreative! provides free student, teacher, and student family access (via “Education Pass”) and scheduled programming throughout the year. In-school visits are also provided by WheatonArts staff and volunteers.
Glasstown Partnership is a program for 4th grade students. Glasstown Partnership provides vessel designing, glassblowing, and museum tour activities.
Glasstown Field Trips is a program for students of all ages. Field trips are subsidized for public, private, and home school students on a first come, first served basis. The trips includes Museum access, Studio demonstrations, and free time to explore the campus.
These programs address critical social and developmental goals as well as creative goals that align with the State of New Jersey Core Content Curriculum Standards and other educational criteria.
The Glass Studio Fund
The Glass Studio Fund was developed to honor employees and artists that have worked in the South Jersey glass community. Contributions to the Glass Studio Fund can be made in honor or memory of an individual that worked in the glass industry or as a general donation to the preservation and protection of the South Jersey glass traditions and treasures. The Glass Studio Fund will support our world-renowned Glass Studio operations and maintenance.
