Moshe Bursuker received his BFA degree in sculpture and photography from the Hartford Art School at the University of Hartford. He began working with glass at this time. After leaving Hartford, Moshe continued to pursue his artistic endeavors as a glass artist. He attended Urban Glass, Pilchuck Glass School and the Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass, where he has worked with world-renowned glass artists. Currently, he is an instructor at Urban Glass and the Studio at the Corning Museum of Glass.

In his most recent work, Moshe is attempting to combine glass and photography. Utilizing the specific power of each of the two mediums allows him to express, in a more comprehensive way, his perception of the surrounding world.

Moshe states, “I believe that glass has the ability to take photography into the three-dimensional realm and that photography can highlight the more lucid qualities of glass.”

Moshe’s work has been presented at numerous national and international art shows and it’s being sold at prestigious galleries across the U.S. and Canada. He is the recipient of the 2005 Metropolitan Contemporary Glass Group Fellowship Award and the 2007 Fellowship of the Creative Glass Center of America.
